Chapter 14 Refraction
Most of us have seen a rainbow when sunlight hits droplets of water in the air. Sunlight is bent, or refracted, as it passes through a raindrop. Refraction is also key to understanding how artificial lenses function. Lenses are essential to many artistic and scientific applications- from microscopes, to cameras, to optometry.
